.Ongoing snowmelt will promote elevated river flows and minor
flooding.

For the Owyhee River...including Mountain City...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:55 AM PDT Monday the stage was 8.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:55 AM PDT Monday was 8.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this morning and continue falling to 7.3 feet Wednesday, May
    08.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Flood History...No available flood history.
